This vibrant handkerchief with a floral print and elaborate paisley border in rust, green, yellow, and white over a bright blue ground dates to 1820-1840.  Likely printed and exported from Great Britain, it was purchased by the Wilber family of Swansea, Massachusetts in the early 19th century.
